RT is hosting a journalism camp in Moscow. Knowledge of a foreign language would be an advantage.
More than 45 years of Alexey’s journalistic career include being a reporter, anchor, editor and producer for different newspapers, radio stations and TV channels. He covered events as different as the Russia’s August Coup of 1991 and Olympic Games and received a few professional awards. Alexey joined RT in 2005. He is also a Deputy Head of the Department of Media at the Higher School of Economics.
Senior News Anchor
Kevin Owen is RT’s senior news anchor, and also one of our longest-serving news presenters. Having joined the channel in early 2006, he’s covered many of our biggest, breaking stories. He has three decades' experience in TV and radio journalism, previously working with the BBC, ITV, Sky News and commercial radio in the UK. In 2008, he was named “News Anchor of the Year” in Russia and awarded a TEFI by the Academy of Russian Television.
Head of RT 360
Edward Chizhikov is the head of the RT360 department at RT. Although he joined RT in 2008, he’s spent the last two and half years leading the news organization’s ever-growing 360 production team. Since its inception, the team of 20+ has produced more than 100 360 and VR experiences in six different languages, which have racked up more than 32 million views.
Dep. Director of Innovations
Ivor Crotty’s experience working in Dutch factories in the 1990’s spurred him to study sociology, where he graduated with a first class MA from UCC in 2000. Ivor moved to Moscow in 2006 where he worked with RIA Novosti, in mobile advertising with Gigafone and with RT. He became head of Social Media for the network in 2012, developing growth strategy and leading group relations with social platforms. Ivor set-up the RT Digital reporting and UGC verification team in 2015. Ivor is now is Dep. Creative & Innovations Director at RT with responsibility for brand storytelling and outreach.
Head of Social Media Content Department
Artur Sokolov is a creative producer with unlimited imagination who manages RT’s video production for social networks. He joined RT in 2009 as an editor and producer of an evening show for foreigners living in Russia. For over 5 years he was news editor, then he went on to lead RT International newsroom. His team boasts a number of awards and nominations at such international competitions as Emmy, Monte Carlo and New York Film Festivals. Now he is in charge of launching new shows and special online projects and producing personal social media content.
Head of Newsroom
Maria Zeleranskaya is a Russian news editor and media manager. Maria joined RT newsroom in 2005 – 6 months before the international, English-language news channel was officially launched. In the next 13 years Maria stayed in RT newsroom first as a broadcast journalist, then as a news editor and later as the Head of Newsroom. As head of her news team, she oversaw TV coverage of biggest news of the past decade, from foreign interventions to terror attacks, from presidential elections to historic meetings. Maria’s latest special project was news coverage of the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia featuring legendary football manager Jose Mourinho and renowned goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.
Head of Creative Department
Boris Gorlov is in charge of on-air promotions production for RT’s entire network that includes channels broadcasting in English, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, French and German. His department produces all types of promos and a good deal of on-air computer graphics. Promos made by Gorlov-led team have won a number of international awards over the years.
Murad Gazdiev is a news correspondent at RT International - specializing in conflicts and unrest globally. From the trenches and ruins of Eastern Ukraine, to the cratered streets of Syria's Aleppo, or even the midst of migrant riots in Europe's refugee camps, Murad can often be found broadcasting from the epicenters of hotspots worldwide. Having majored in finance, he also covers pressing economic issues. Murad began his journalism career at RT, working as a Broadcast Journalist for RT News.

- - copywriting for promos, translating written text from Russian to English;
- - editing promo videos, recording voice overs with the audio engineer;
- - tracking the broadcast schedule;
- - organizing and coordinating filming and production;
Social Media Manager
- - managing accounts on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram);
- - news feed monitoring;
- - selection and management of social media content;
- - interaction with correspondents, producers and broadcast editors;
- - analysis of information from news feeds and news agencies;
- - writing for broadcast;
- - creating and developing broadcast news segments;
- - video editing, voice over recording for news items;
System Administrator (RUPTLY Berlin)
- - planning, installation and administration of Windows servers;
- - virtualization with clustered Hyper-V;
- - administration of Active Directory and Exchange servers;
- - support for infrastructure based services such as DNS, DHCP, LAN and WAN;
- - regular system and network monitoring with SNMP tools (Nagios);
- - administration of equipment and assets, user management;
